“March! To the catapults”.
Merging two subsidiaries is a challenge. Professional preparation is an absolute must.
Which is why we championed a big "design event" for our client DEKRA: Around 100 new employees slung new energy matter into the enlarged sales area with the help of homemade catapults.
Firstly we sent employees from both subsidiaries on a GPS reconnaissance rally through the new sales territory. In mixed teams, participants tackled custom-made corporate challenges, based around communication, teamwork and solution orientation. For each successfully completed task, members received raw materials to be used at the yet unknown destination point.
At the end of the rally, participants reached the "Secret Monastery of the Brotherhood of the Old Portcullis" staged by actors. This “Brotherhood”, centred around Brother Thomas, possesses the knowledge of how to impart a tremendous energy potential on to the team. An energy that makes the team stronger than the sum of its parts.
Under the professional guidance of the "Council of Wise Men", the groups used this lively team event to construct their very own catapults. Once these were steadfast, "matter" was dispatched by the catapults into a prepared “energy field”.
A complete success. And as always, once the first stone has been cast, the rest takes care of itself.
